| THPS is a biocide effective against micropest in industrial cooling systems, oil field operations, and paper-making industry. THPS biocides are classified by DOT as non-hazardous, and they have very low acute toxicity in the environment. In addition, THPS degrades rapidly on discharge to a molecule that is virtually non-toxic, thereby minimizing the risk of pollution and/or harm to biological effluent treatment (BET) plants. THPS biocides are fast-acting and offer excellent activity against slime forming microorganisms, sulfate reducing bacteria, and biofilms. |
